01 Infrastructure & cloud
Server consolidation, cloud migrations, and Microsoft 365 / Entra ID environments built to stay up. I plan the cutover, run it, and own the result.
I keep the systems that businesses run on stable, secure, and quietly out of the way.
I lead IT infrastructure, security, and Microsoft 365 operations for a portfolio of growing organizations, and I serve as the senior escalation point for a team of engineers. My work runs the full stack: cloud migrations, network and firewall upgrades, security incident response, and the vendor and stakeholder relationships that hold it all together.
My path here was not the standard one. I started in field and infrastructure work, moved through project management on national accounts, and built my technical depth on the job while finishing my degree and stacking certifications. That range is the point: I can size a firewall, run a migration, manage a budget, and explain any of it to a room that does not speak IT. I am now focused on owning technology strategy and operations for a single organization, with an eye toward IT Director and beyond.

Firewall and network design and hardening with SonicWall and Meraki, endpoint protection with SentinelOne and managed detection, and calm, methodical incident response.
Leading engineers, setting process, and acting as the escalation point. Turning reactive firefighting into documented, repeatable operations.
Managing vendor relationships and translating technical reality into plain business terms for leadership, so the right calls get made and funded.
Own infrastructure, security, and M365 across a portfolio of client organizations. Lead a team of engineers as primary escalation point. Deliver cloud migrations, network upgrades, and security incident response.
Managed national installation accounts for enterprise clients. Built the stakeholder and vendor management muscle that now anchors my technical work.
Occasional field notes on infrastructure, security, and running IT well. No schedule, just things worth writing down.
What I run at home, why, and what it taught me about the systems I manage at work.
MigrationsA repeatable way to plan a cutover so the business barely notices it happened.
SecurityThe handful of settings that stop most of the incidents I get called about.
